There are lots of different flavored teas available in India with different flavors and aroma. Cardamom tea has the best aroma and flavor among them. Lets see how to make a cup of strong and tasty cardamom tea.
INGREDIENTS
(Serves 1 glass)
- Milk - 3/4 cup
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Tea powder - 1 spoon
- Sugar - 2 spoons
PREPARATION METHOD
- Crush the cardamom pods or grind it coarsely and keep it aside.
- In a saucepan add water and once it starts to boil add the crushed cardamom pods, tea powder and boil well for 2 minutes or until you get the cardamom aroma.
- Add milk and boil for a minute.
- Strain and add sugar.
- Serve with snacks.
TIP 1: There are tea powders available with the cardamom flavor, you can use them also.
TIP 2: You can add all the ingredients together in the sauce pan, bring to boil strain and enjoy an instant and aromatic cardamom tea.
TIP 3: If you like more milk you can add a cup of milk and prepare the tea. Or if you like a more watery tea you can add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of milk and prepare the recipe.
