Ginger Milk Tea / Inji Tea

Ginger Milk Tea is another variety of flavored milk tea. It has the strong aroma of ginger and is very refreshing to drink. Ginger tea helps to get rid of Digestive problems, Headache and Throat infections. Apart from all these health facts it is really refreshing to have a sip of ginger milk tea at evenings with a snack.

  1. Milk - 3/4 cup
  2. Water - 1/4 cup
  3. Tea powder - 1 spoon / Tea bag - 1
  4. Sugar - 2 spoons
  5. Ginger grated - 1 spoon

PREPARATION METHOD

  • Add the grated ginger in a cup and keep aside

  • In a saucepan add all the following ingredients milk, water, tea powder/tea bag, sugar and heat the mixture.
  • Remove from flame and strain into the cup containing grated ginger.
  • Stir well for a few seconds and strain again.
  • Serve.

TIP 1: If you like to have more watery tea then add 1/2 cup of water to 1/2 cup of milk and prepare the tea.

TIP 2: If you like more aroma and ginger flavor you can add more ginger.

TIP 3: Instead of adding grated ginger you can also add crushed ginger piece

TIP 4: Do not boil milk and ginger together, because milk will get curdled.
