Mango Custard Recipe | How To Make Mango Custard | Easy Mango Dessert Recipe

Mango custard is a very creamy palatable dessert and it makes a great after-meal dessert. I was planning on making many mango recipes this year but literally never got enough time to try my hands on any new ones. Last year and the year before too it was the same, I was not able to experiment any new dishes with mangoes as I was in my pregnancy and maternity period and you know how mangoes aren't good for women during then. This year I was and am back to normal but with my baking venture and other chores of life I wasn't able to concentrate on my favorite fruit and was only able to post one recipe, mango jam. But still wanted to make atleast my favorite mango custard and post it here on my blog. So finally here comes another mango recipe this season. This would be a quick fix for your dessert time and this will be one easy dessert that you can make in a breeze and serve any number of guests too.

PREPARATION METHOD

  • Chop mangoes into smaller pieces. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this chopped mango for serving purpose. Grind the remaining mango pieces into fine paste without adding water.
  • Take 50 ml of milk and add the custard powder and mix well until there are no lumps.
  • Now place a saucepan on flame and boil milk. When it boils well add the custard paste slowly keep stirring as you add the paste using a whisk or ladle so that no lumps are formed.
  • Now add sugar and switch off the flame.
  • Add the ground mango paste, cream and stir well.
  • Remove from flame and refrigerate. (See that the custard is slightly thick but in pouring consistency)
  • While serving pour the chilled custard in a small serving cup add a lot of chopped mangoes and serve.
TIP 1: You can top it with some almonds or any nuts, you can drizzle some honey also. Customize and serve as you would like to.

TIP 2: Top as much as mango pieces you want while you serve.

TIP 3: Tastes best when chilled.
