Facebook Event & Giveaway - Celebrating 2500+ fans on facebook

To celebrate 2500+ likes on Facebook, here is a event and a give-away exclusively for facebook fans. This is a way to thank all my readers, subscribers and friends who have been a huge support. Participating is very easy, just cook something from my blog, post it on my facebook page (click here) along with my recipe link, tag 5 of your friends, then copy the link of the picture you have posted and link it at the bottom of this page. Then just comment your name and the recipe name you have tried, here in this post. Simple!! For example if you are trying my chocolate milk recipe, just click a pic of it, post it on your wall along with this link (http://www.youtoocancook.net/2014/03/chocolate-milk-hot-chocolate-using.html) and mention that you tried the recipe from this link and that you are participating in You Too Can Cook's Event & Giveaway. Scroll down to know more on how to participate. All the best friends. Hope you have a good time cooking, relishing and participating. There are six fantastic prizes to be won, why wait buckle up and start participating. How To Participate


Things to do;
  1. Like my Facebook Page - click here
  2. Prepare any recipe from my blog and click a decent pic of it. 
  3. Post the picture on You Too Can Cook Facebook page along with the recipe link and event link. (don't post the preparation method)
  4. Tag 5 of your non-blogger friends.
  5. In the post state clearly that you are participating in the Facebook giveaway conducted by "You Too Can Cook" and also mention that you tried the recipe from "this" link. (ex. if you are trying my chocolate milk recipe, just click a pic of it, post it on your wall along with this link http://www.youtoocancook.net/2014/03/chocolate-milk-hot-chocolate-using.html)
  6. Now click on your picture and copy the url/link of the picture you have posted on facebook.
  7. Then link it in the linky tool at the bottom of this post. (Enter your name in the names section while linking)
  8. Once done post a comment on this page along with your name as on your facebook profile recipe name that you have tried.

Some clarifications 
  • You can post any number of recipes. But adding the recipe link and tagging 5 friends is very important. (they should be non-bloggers or bloggers who do not blog about food/recipes)  
  • You can blog about the event but do not post the whole recipe on your Blog or Website or on Facebook. It is strictly forbidden.  You must share my blog's link alone. 
  • There are totally 6 prizes to be won. 
  • The event will be running between April 18 to May 18. (UPDATE - EVENT EXTENDED UPTO JUNE 15, 2014)
  • Bloggers, Non-Bloggers, kids, ladies, men anyone who have an account on facebook can participate in this event.  
  • Participants should have an Indian address, as the prizes will be shipped only within India. People staying abroad can participate and win it for you loved ones in India. 
  • If you need any clarifications feel free to contact me
  • I will analyse all the facebook posts and the ones that do not follow the above rules will be disqualified.

Tips
  • To increase your chance of winning follow all the above said rules. 
  • Click a really good picture of the recipe. This doesn't mean that you have to use a high quality camera or a dslr. Just a decent picture with good sense of plating will win you a prize.  
  • You can optionally tell us about how you or your family enjoyed the dish. This is not compulsory.
  • The pictures should be your own. Do not use my pictures. 

How Will Winners Be Chosen?

  • There are totally 6 prizes to be won.

  • First prize and Runner-up will be chosen by me based on how well their  recipe picture impresses me. The consolation prize winners will be chosen randomly. 
  • Winners will be announced on You Too Can Cook facebook page and on my blog, around June 3rd week. 

Terms & Conditions

  1. Do not participate with a fake facebook account, such participants will be disqualified. 
  2. Do not use my recipe picture or other's pictures, use your own. Else will be disqualified.
  3. Winners should contact me after the announcement, if the winner does not respond within a week another winner will be chosen.

    1. Hi, Yes you need not write or blog about the recipe on your blog. You should post the picture alone on your facebook wall and copy the link of the picture (this is the 6th point). Then link it here using the linky tool. No blog links allowed only facebook links should be linked.

    No words to express about this flavorful curry.. My actual plan was to serve with Roti for dinner but the flavor and spicy aroma while cooking swapped my plan to Rice.Only few recipes makes us very happy while eating and trust me, every bite of this curry made us
    the happiest person and the most surprising part is my husband asked me to serve the same curry for breakfast along with rice ( normally he doesn't eat breakfast at home). I am extremely happy and this curry gonna be in my monthly menu for sure as per request ;) Unfortunately I missed all your non veg recipes coz of fasting but this curry did not let me down...It tasted like mutton gravy for us :)Thank you so much Divs:)

    These balls looking like jamuns after frying tasted awesome with crispy exterior and a crunchy, chewy interior.. Also the potato balls were easier to shape. It can be eaten as an appetizer too. We enjoyed it as an evening snack with tea.

  162. Entry 363 - Baked Chicken Drumsticks

    Cooking chicken drumsticks has become a easy job for me as I just need to marinate the chicken with masala and bake it in the oven. I tried these drumsticks as an accompaniment with biryani and they were an absolute delight. I prefer to use this method of baking chicken as it is less in calories than deep frying it.

    Here is my 2nd Entry Petit Fours and I have chosen as It is close to my heart and totally loved it.Tried it as super challenging and It came out at 1st attempt... My family loved it and tasted so lovely especially my dad so I made it for the advance Father's day :) My daughter totally loved it and said very cute small mini cakes...     I haven't tried this type of fry with Lady's Finger. All I have made is lady's finger pachadi. But when I tried this, I felt that it tasted perfect with the spicy chilli powder and aslo it was quick and easier to make. It tasted best with curd rice. And I prefer to make this type of side dish for sambar rice or curd rice.
